As of December 2007 you can now buy motors up to a propelant weight of 1kg, this is around the mid K mark, however please check the details of the motor before purchasing to make sure you can legally buy these without paperwork.

For purchasing motors with a propellant weight of over 1Kg you will require paperwork.
