Epoxy, or Epoxy resin, is an adhesive which comes as 2 separate parts; a hardener and a resin. Epoxy is the standard adhesive used by most rocket builders for High Power Rockets, and also for some amateur rockets. It is used due to its strength, as it sets very hard.

The most common brand of epoxy resin is Araldite, but for rocketry applications it is generally more economical to buy brands of epoxy resin which come in larger containers, such as Dev-con 2 ton and Dev-con 15 minute epoxy. Always try and use the strongest adhesive possible on the fins of a rocket.

Note: It is advisable to wear disposable gloves when using epoxy resin, since it can prove quite a task to remove, if it gets on skin.
