UKRA/BMFA offer recognised School and Youth Groups a discounted membership scheme. There will be one Group Leader/Teacher who will pay the full UKRA/BMFA membership rate and will have full membership and insurance for his/her flying pursuits both within the group and individually. The fees will be the current Full Senior UKRA/BMFA fees at the time of joining.

The junior members will be charged one third of the junior membership fee (rounded to the nearest whole £) and will be insured whilst flying with the group under the supervision of the Group Leader only. Insurance cover will not be applicable if they wish to fly on their own or as part of another club or group.

You do not need to name the juniors, the scheme allows for any number of individuals so long as the total number does not exceed that which your group is covered for. The minimum number of juniors required for a Schools and Youth Group Scheme is 4 (four).

Current Membership rates for the schools and Youth Group Scheme are :-

Group leader £37
Each Junior £6 ( minimum of four required)

If you would like to join UKRA as a Schools or Youth group simply complete the standard UKRA application form and the relevant sections of the BMFA Schools and Youth Group form. Return it to UKRA with the correct fees and we will do the rest.
