Last weekend 104 guides and 30 leaders attended the London South West Countdown to the Centenary Camp.

Girl Guides will be 100 years old next year and so we decided to help celebrate the count down with a camp and a rocket launch as the finale of the closing ceremony.

A Big Daddy kit was purchased at Big EARS and thanks to hatter was build on Saturday 23rd the day before I went to the camp.

The finish on the rocket was achieved by printing out the centenary graphics onto A4 sticky labels and then a few coats for clear laquer.

Seems the kids loved the launch, unfortunately I was too far away from them to see the reaction.
