Rockets and Space at the Royal Gunpowder Mills Waltham Abbey 10 & 11 July 2010
Hi all
This will be the third year for this event and there are plenty of Rocketry bits and pieces on display in the exhibition along with additional items brought out specially for the event (A rare chance to see these not often seen items) The museum has excellent displays on the history and manufacture of Gunpowder and more recent explosives.

As in previous years the site is very keen to have hobbyists like ourselves on site plugging what we do and our various clubs. For those manning stands on site entrance is free. There is also free camping on site for exhibitors
One of the highlights for the weekend is people launching flying saucer rockets and rockets they have put together in the onsite workshops. Rockets built by us hobbyists always go down well as they are so much better finished than the workshop rockets. So who is coming along and what are you bringing to fly?
regards
Mark
