MPs urged to back space tourism

Virgin GalacticVirgin Galactic has urged the Commons Science and Technology Committee to allow it to launch passenger flights from the UK. They propose sites in either Scotland or Cornwall.
35 Britons have already paid a deposit and signed up for a flight on SpaceShipTwo, they will be required to undergo 3 days training before taking the trip which lasts appoximately 2.5 hours.
