Can I suggest that UKRA, or someone representing UKRA, offers to assist El Reg with the rocket parts of this project? I think it'd be great publicity for UKRA (and UK rocketry itself), since their readers are generally the sort of geeks that fit in well with rocketry, and I wouldn't like to see one of the many other UK rocket orgs which have popped up recently getting in there before we do.
I would offer to help but my gliders usually end up burying themselves, even without being launched from a balloon with autonomous controls.
