Hi all

As many of you know I have arranged rocketry related visits for the Black Knights Rocket Club. In the past we have had very interesting and successful visits to The Aerospace Museum at Cosford and Rolls Royce Heritage

I have been talking to staff at Brooklands Museum with a view to arranging a visit.

They have a varied collection to view and in addition as part of there Aviation collection they have a small No of early UK Guided weapons. A little while ago I came across a book by John Forbat titled Vickers Guided Weapons, John has strong links with Brooklands and will be available (along with other staff) on the visit day to discuss the exhibits and his book.

The visit is set for 1st March starting at 11.00. As in the past it’s a make your own way there and meet up type event. If you are interested in attending let me know so that I can let Brooklands know rough numbers and nearer the time we will arrange a place to meet on site.
