Due to very wet and windy weather the 2008 UKAYRoC fly-offs had to move to their wet weather programme. The teams each had to do a 5 minute presentation on their path to the fly-offs and the judging from this along with their qualifying flight was used to determine the 2008 winners. The winning teams were:


1st Place - Horsforth Secondary School, Yorkshire
2nd Place - Crofton School (Team 1), Portsmouth
3rd Place - Salt Grammer, Yorkshire
4th Place - Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire
5th Place - Thornton Grammar (Team 2), Bradford

The winning team will now have a few weeks to organise themselves to attend the TARC (Team America Rocket Challenge) fly-offs near Washington DC in May. The team from Horsforth will demo their rocket to the American teams at the event.
