Alan Bond has a very long and distinguished rocketry pedigree going back to his amateur rocketry exploits as a kid in the 60's to his work for Rolls Royce Rocket Engines and on to HOTOL for British Aerospace.
Since 1989 he has been working for Reaction Engines which he formed with John Scott-Scott and Richard Varvill. Reaction Engines are carrying on the work started with HOTOL in the form of SKYLON.
The lecture will be about the development of Hydrogen cooled and fuelled high MACH number jet engines.
