Welcome to the UKRA public Forum

Welcome to the UKRA public forum. UKRA has opened up this forum to non-members to allow members and non members alike to discuss aspects of UK rocketry and provide an area for those new to the hobby to ask questions.

We have opened this forum up as part of a trial which as long as discussions stay friendly and mostly on topic we hope to continue.

EARS committee nominations and ballot

EARS have received 5 nominations this year. We have decided that there is absolutely no point in organising a postal ballot as there are fewer people standing than positions available so the five nominees will be elected uncontested at the AGM which will be held on Sunday 4th December at the launch site.

If anyone has any objections, please voice your concerns at the AGM after the new committee is elected Eye-wink

May 2012 Launch Campaign Organising Team.

Sorry folks, I don't seem to be able to attach the document here. Maybe it's too large (3.32 MB). I will try to solve this problem today. In the meantime I will arrange for the document to be attached, or linked at the Big Range website at http://www.scottishrockets.com

Blue Tube and Storage Of (Just a snippet of news)

Having purchased some extra Blue tube for repairs and future modifications to my fleet, I stored them in a corner of my office. The tubes ended up leaning against a radiator unoticed for some time, this was OK until I needed my office heating on and as the radiator needed bleeding,I proceeded. It was then I spotted to my horror that the tubes had warped from the heat thus rendering them useless, unless you are going to make a banana shaped missile. Regards to all Mike
